Build safety rounds with recurring checklists
Create a checklist template once, schedule it to recur weekly or monthly, and let employees complete rounds on their phone or tablet. Findings link directly to deviations with a responsible person and deadline.
Create template
Build a checklist with task, photo, text, rating, measurement and other field types. Tailor it to your workplace.
Schedule recurring
Set the checklist to repeat daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom schedule. It shows up automatically for the assigned team.
Complete on mobile
Employees walk the floor and complete the checklist in their browser. Add photos and notes on the spot.
Findings become deviations
Register deviations directly from the activity. They are automatically linked to the right checklist.
Audit trail
Every completed round is saved with timestamps and responses. Show auditors exactly when rounds were done and what was found.
Example: Workplace safety round
- Task Emergency exits are clear and accessible
- Task Fire extinguishers are in place and inspected
- Rating General tidiness and order (1-5)
- Photo Document any hazards found
- Text Additional observations or comments
- Date Date of completed round
Regulations + ISO 45001: Why it matters
National OHS regulations and the international standard complement each other. Together they give you a complete framework and a clear competitive advantage.
Consolidated OHS requirements
National regulations keep evolving. New frameworks consolidate existing rules into broader, clearer requirements, but also more to track.
International standard
Builds on local requirements with PDCA cycle, clearer leadership commitment and systematic improvement. Gives international recognition in procurement.
Personal management liability
The employer is always responsible. In serious accidents, CEO and board can be held personally liable. Documented OHS work is your protection.
Supply chain requirements
Large customers and public sector increasingly require ISO 45001. Without certification, you risk being excluded from tenders.
Show governance externally
Customers and partners ask for documented OHS governance. Certification gives a clear answer without having to explain your internal processes every time.
Attract and retain
Employees choose employers who take safety seriously. A strong safety culture is a competitive advantage in the job market.

Book a demoWorker participation: the requirement most miss
ISO 45001 requires workers to participate in OHS work. Actively involved, not merely informed. Most organizations solve this with an annual survey. That's not enough. AmpliFlow makes it systematic.
Safety rounds via checklists
Create recurring checklists for safety rounds. Employees complete them via their browser and findings link to actions.
Improvement suggestions
Give employees a channel to suggest safety improvements. Every suggestion is tracked and gets feedback.
Transparent dashboards
Show status of reported risks and ongoing actions. Employees see that their reporting leads to change.
Every near-miss is a chance to prevent an accident
Reported near-misses aren't a problem. They're proof of a healthy safety culture. AmpliFlow ensures every report leads to concrete change, not just documentation.

Someone reports an almost-accident
Investigation
Root cause analysis with 5 Whys

Certification is proof that you already work systematically
ISO 45001 requires your organisation to identify hazards, involve workers, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement of occupational health and safety. AmpliFlow is the platform where all that actually happens - not where you document that you did it.
Projects and OHS goals
Safety improvement projects, goals, and follow-up live in the same system as your management system. Link actions to measurable results and show the auditor that work is ongoing.
Processes and competence
Documented processes linked to the employees who need to follow them. Competence tracking and training planning in the same platform.
Near-misses that drive prevention
Every reported near-miss leads to root cause analysis, risk update, and concrete action. Improvement work happens inside the system, not alongside it.
One platform for multiple standards
Add ISO 9001 or 14001 and you build on the same foundation. Shared processes, audits, and risk management without duplication.
Read about integrated management systems →Show the safety work, not just the policy
Checklists, KPIs and near-miss workflows show what happens from safety round to action. That makes the system concrete for both employees and auditors.

ISO 45001: Questions & Answers
What you need to know before you start.
Do we need ISO 45001?
No. ISO 45001 is voluntary. However, occupational health and safety laws are mandatory in most countries, and every employer must comply. ISO 45001 gives you a proven framework for doing it properly, and certification proves it to customers, regulators and insurers. The question is rarely whether you need it, but whether you can afford not being able to show it.
What's the difference between local OHS laws and ISO 45001?
Local occupational health and safety laws set the legal minimum every employer must follow. ISO 45001 is a voluntary international standard that builds on these with more systematic approach, clearer leadership commitment and focus on continuous improvement. Having local compliance in place gives you a solid foundation.
What does an auditor actually look for?
An auditor wants to see that the system is alive, not just that documents exist. They talk to workers on the floor, trace the path from a reported risk to a completed action, and check that management actually uses data for decisions. They look for evidence that you do what you say you do.
What does clause 5.4 require for worker participation?
ISO 45001 requires workers to be involved in risk assessments, incident investigations and improvement work. It's not enough to send out a survey once a year. Participation must be systematic and continuous. AmpliFlow supports this with checklists for safety rounds, deviation management for improvement suggestions and KPI tracking.
How often do we need risk assessments?
Risk assessment is required whenever changes affect the work environment: new machines, changed work methods, reorganization, after incidents. Beyond that, you should have a systematic review at least annually. AmpliFlow helps you document and follow up risk assessments systematically.
What does 'certification' actually mean?
An independent third-party auditor (like DNV, Bureau Veritas or BSI) examines your management system against the standard. They review documentation, interview workers and management, and verify the system works in practice. Pass the audit and you receive a certificate valid for three years, with annual surveillance audits.
What does ISO 45001 certification cost?
The total cost has three parts: 1) Implementation, meaning internal working time, optional consultancy and system tools. This is the biggest item. 2) Certification audit, which varies by certification body and organization size. 3) Ongoing maintenance, covering annual surveillance audits and system upkeep. Implementation time depends on your maturity and size.
How long does certification take?
It depends on your maturity: if you already have local OHS compliance in place, it goes faster. Behavior change takes time, you need operation time for the system to take hold. The auditor wants to see it living, not just that the documents exist.
