Policy Management

Your policy should govern the business - not gather dust in a binder

A policy is the CEO's promise to the organization. But if no one can find it, and no one knows what it means for their work - what is it worth? In AmpliFlow, policies live in pages and folders with clear permissions, search, and links to the legal requirements you must follow - so they are easier to use day to day.

Manufacturing, IT, professional services. AmpliFlow manages policies across industries.

The Problem

From Word file to system

Policies in Word on the server. Old versions in email. New ones in Teams. Someone asks and no one knows where the current version is.

The Solution

Policies that live - not just sit in storage

Here, every policy becomes part of a system - visible to the right people, linked to the right processes, and easy to keep current.

Write directly in the tool

Create policies with headings, lists, tables, and images. No Word file to keep in sync - one single source of truth.

Control who sees what

Three access levels: owner, editor, viewer. Give access to people, teams, or everyone. Permissions inherit down the folder structure.

Find the right policy instantly

Search your policies by title. Organize in folders so employees find what they need - without asking around.

Link from the content

Add links in the policy to processes, objectives, legal requirements, or instructions. Employees get context without searching across systems.

Share with the right group

Control access by person, team, or everyone. A policy can be open to the whole organization or visible only to those affected.

Export to PDF

Download policies for print or external parties. Custom headers and footers for professional results.

FAQ

Questions about policy management

Can we see when a policy changed?
Yes. Pages show when they were created and updated. If you need formal version comparison, handle it as part of your document routine.
Are there approval workflows before publishing?
Not as a separate Pages workflow today. Use permissions to control who can edit and add your own approval routine where needed.
Can we see who has read a policy?
Not as a separate read receipt for Pages today. If you need confirmation, set it up as a task or checklist.
How does access control work?
Each policy, file, and folder has three access levels: owner (full control), editor (can edit), and viewer (read only). You grant access to individuals, teams, or everyone. Permissions inherit down the folder structure but can be overridden.
What's the difference from Documents in AmpliFlow?
It's the same underlying feature. Policies and operational documentation live in the same knowledge base. You choose how to organize - perhaps separate folders for governing policies and work instructions, or mixed by area.
Can multiple people edit the same policy simultaneously?
Collaboration happens through sharing documents with the right permissions. Changes save immediately and everyone sees the current page.
