Simplified project module and better improvement filtering
Based on customer feedback, we have simplified the project module and removed more than 5,500 lines of old code. Thank you to everyone who pointed out what you actually use. Project timelines now focus more on the portfolio overview, and inside a single project the timeline sorts by task order by default.
MCP is also safer and more practical for AI assistants. Structured responses handle embedded images without sending raw image data, improvement backlogs can be filtered more precisely, and task blocking now follows the same model as af-cli.
What’s new
- AI assistants using MCP can filter improvements by form, date range, search text, and sort order. This makes it easier to work through customer feedback and improvement proposals without first cleaning up a large text list manually.
- MCP now uses project order for normal task sequencing and the
blockedtag when a task should not be picked up by af-cli oraf loop. This replaces the older MCP task-blocking fields and tools.
Improvements
- The project module has been simplified after customer feedback. We removed old timeline choices that were not used, making the portfolio overview easier to work in.
- The timeline inside a single project now sorts by task order by default instead of due date.
- When the top menu does not fit across the available width, a clearer indicator shows that more content is available to the side.
- AmpliFlow Box devices now appear in dropdowns for all roles that need to select a device.
- In the process chart, toolbar options now appear directly when you click a connection between steps, saving an extra click.
- Tasks now show line breaks, making longer task descriptions easier to read.
- MCP sends safer structured responses when rich-text fields contain embedded images. Raw base64 data is replaced with a short marker, so the assistant context is not filled with image data.
- Several security updates have been made behind the scenes.
Fixed bugs
- Recurring items in the year wheel monthly view now appear on their actual dates.
- Breadcrumbs on customer and supplier pages now point to the right place.
- When you work with controls, multiple dialogs no longer open on top of each other.
