Manufacturing: follow deliveries, workplace safety and environmental work

Use AmpliFlow to see what remains before delivery, record actions after near misses and assess environmental impacts. Here are three examples from a fictional manufacturer.

See what remains before the next delivery

Aster's delivery preparations still include outstanding checks and operator briefings. The subgoal in AmpliFlow shows 6 of 8 checks and 2 of 4 briefings complete.

Open the subgoal and read what remains: label traceability, a packing inspection and two operator briefings. Colleagues can see the measurements and which teams are involved.

Follow the actions after a near miss

A cable across a walkway at a commissioning bay causes a near miss. Nobody is injured. The case records how the cable is rerouted, the setup instructions are changed and operators receive a briefing.

The action log and completion checks stay in the same case in AmpliFlow. The person following up can read what changed and which action items were marked complete.

Assess energy use, chemicals and waste

The register includes manufacturing energy use, calibration chemicals and electronic products at end of life. Each row has a unit, assessment questions and recorded assessments.

For energy use, the question is which assembly and test operations use the most energy. Keep the evidence in the environmental aspect register to decide which areas need further investigation and work.

For teams managing production, quality and environmental responsibilities

Deliveries still need to go out while quality problems, near misses and environmental issues need attention. In a smaller manufacturing business, one person may handle several of these responsibilities. Colleagues need to be able to contribute information and follow the work, even when the person who usually coordinates follow-up is busy.

Operators can report deviations in AmpliFlow, and you can follow up on checks, actions and environmental assessments in the same system. When the information is documented, it is easier for a colleague to take over follow-up if someone is away.

Questions from manufacturers

Can production employees report deviations?
Yes. Employees can register events in AmpliFlow through a browser. Start with the information you need to handle and follow up the event.
Do we have to buy consulting support?
Consulting and implementation support are optional. Work on your own and choose help with setup or implementation when needed.
What can we bring to a demo?
Bring a task you need better support for: preparing a delivery, following up a near miss or assessing an environmental aspect. We show how to record the evidence and follow the work in AmpliFlow.

We want to talk to you!
