Record time against projects and tasks

How is time divided between your projects? Timesheets is part of AmpliFlow, software for planning and following up your organization's work. Record time against projects and tasks, review the week and see where time has been spent. Calendar events can provide a starting point.

Time reporting connected to project planning

Time reporting is built into AmpliFlow. Select existing projects and project tasks when recording time, then follow up the hours spent on that work.

  1. Plan in Projects. Assign project tasks, owners and dates. Colleagues can also find their assigned project tasks in Tasks.
  2. Record time against those projects and tasks. Enter time by day in the weekly view.
  3. Follow up recorded time. See how hours are divided between people, projects and tasks when planning the next assignment.

Link time to the project and task

Choose a project or project task and enter time by day. The weekly view brings together your work across projects. Within a project, view your own time.

Time belongs to the same work you plan in Projects, so you can follow up which tasks it was spent on.

The project's Team Time view shows recorded time grouped by task.

Use your calendar as a starting point

Connect a calendar using a published ICS link. Events load for the selected week. Choose the project or task the time belongs to, review the suggestions and save selected events to your timesheet.

Matching rules can suggest the mapping when the same meeting title appears again. You review the entries before saving them as time.

Review the week before approval

When the week is ready, the employee submits it for review. The reviewer can check days, projects and comments, then approve the week or return it with a comment.

An employee's week is expanded to show projects, tasks and time. Colleagues' weeks have different review statuses.
