Saved selections checked in custom-list updates through MCP

When you ask an AI assistant to change selections on a custom-list item through MCP, the saved selections are now checked before the update is confirmed. If the result cannot be verified, the assistant receives an error instead of an incorrect success message.

When updating an individual item, you can also explicitly clear a selection without retaining its previous links. This clearing support does not apply to bulk import through MCP. Fields omitted from the update remain unchanged.

Your usual permissions and visibility rules still apply. If the outcome is uncertain, inspect the item before trying again.
