Prioritize projects by impact
Projects can now be rated against your organization’s impact areas, such as environmental and financial impact. The rating appears on the project card, overview, table, and timeline, so you can sort, group, and filter the portfolio by impact.
You also get an organization chart for managers, direct reports, positions, and teams. In addition, you can search project tasks directly and sort checklist reports by several columns.
What’s new
Projects
- People with edit access to impact areas choose the areas the organization uses, such as environmental and financial impact. The person editing the project rates the size of its impact in each area on a scale from 1 (very low) to 5 (very high). The value describes the size of the impact, not whether it is positive or negative. The project’s highest value appears on its card, overview, table, and timeline.
- Sort, group, and filter projects by rated impact when you prioritize the project portfolio.
- Add a project to your favorites directly from its header. Project cards show the number of tasks assigned to you and the number of new events separately.
- The search field appears directly above the task list and timeline. Matches are highlighted in task titles.
- The combined activity view shows updates from every project you can access. The number beside the notification bell includes only unread mentions, new task assignments, and notifications that you were added to or removed from a project.
Organization
- The Users page now includes an organization chart showing managers, direct reports, positions, and teams.
- Search for a person, filter by team, or collapse parts of the organization for a clearer overview.
- Administrators can change a person’s manager by dragging the person to the new manager in the organization chart. AmpliFlow prevents a manager from being moved beneath one of their own reports, and people without a manager remain in a separate area until they are placed in the organization.
Process maps
- Choose colors for processes, subprocesses, steps, inputs, outputs, and connections from a palette beside the item you are editing.
- Arrowheads use the same color as their line. White is not available for connections. When a node has changed, a tooltip states that the node was changed after the latest version was published.
Checklists and printing
- By default, a checklist report is sorted by one column at a time. Selecting another column replaces the previous sorting choice. Enable multi-column sorting when you need to order results by several criteria.
- If a checklist field contains several scanned barcodes or QR codes, they can be printed as separate codes on one label in scan order.
Improvements
Projects
- The view scrolls automatically when you drag a task toward the top or bottom edge of the list.
- Project rows, sortable column headings, activity rows, milestones, and task buttons and checkboxes can now be reached and used with a keyboard. Focus indicators appear during keyboard navigation, and the controls include labels for screen readers.
Fixed bugs
Projects
- A launched project with no tasks now appears as in progress rather than draft.
- Date pickers are positioned so the full calendar remains visible. Opening a notification about a task comment now takes you directly to the comment.
Checklists and printing
- When a checklist step is completed, AmpliFlow can once again send a webhook request. The test button shows the fields and values that are sent.
- When you choose which fields to print on a label, the first selected field is now included in the output. The label contains only the fields you selected.
Custom lists
- Read-only records in custom lists cannot be changed.
Microsoft Teams
- Affected users can now open AmpliFlow in Teams again, both in the desktop app and the web version.
Editing and connection
- If an image or another change cannot be saved, AmpliFlow no longer shows several error messages for the same problem.
- If the connection closes during an update, AmpliFlow no longer shows an extra error message for the interrupted action.
Security
- We have also implemented several security measures to strengthen protection in AmpliFlow.
