Publish news and announcements through MCP

Through AmpliFlow’s MCP connection, you can ask an AI assistant to create and edit news articles and announcement banners. For important messages, you can choose who should see them, when they should stop appearing, and whether recipients must acknowledge that they have read them.

What’s new

News and announcement banners

• The assistant can create and update news articles, as well as informational, warning and urgent announcement banners. You can add a link to more information, choose an icon and set an expiry date.
• You can choose everyone as the audience or target users, teams, positions and roles. You can also assign owners and choose who can edit and view the content.
• You can require a reading acknowledgment with a deadline and a custom message for recipients.

Improvements

• When the assistant updates a news article or announcement, fields you do not change are preserved. If you ask the assistant to clear a field, only that field is affected. The MCP connection checks the saved result afterwards.

Fixed bugs

• The assistant can correct the title of a news article or announcement without recreating it. The body, audience and other settings stay unchanged when only the title is edited.
