Folder uploads, complete project activity, and clearer workflows

Drag a complete folder structure from your computer’s file manager into Pages and follow the upload in the same view. Files that finish uploading remain available even if another file cannot be uploaded.

Search results and hit counts cover the complete project activity feed, even when activities appear across several pages. Timelines, the Dashboard, checklists, the editor, and the stakeholder register also have clearer workflows.

Keep folder structures when uploading to Pages

You can upload folders directly in Pages, including from the Pages tab in a project.

A folder with three PNG files is dragged from the file manager into Pages. Its structure is preserved, and one image is previewed after the upload.
  • Drop multiple files, complete folders, or both files and folders into the open folder. Nested folders and files keep their structure.
  • Change the destination folder before uploading, check the upload status, and cancel when needed. If a file fails, the reason is shown while the other files are saved.
  • You can choose multiple files for the same upload in the file picker.

Search and filter the complete project activity feed

Search covers every activity, not only those on the page being shown. The result count therefore includes matches from every page.

The complete activity feed is searched and narrowed to one project and the Tasks activity type.
  • Filters include unread activity, mentions, users, dates, and projects.
  • Your own activity is hidden by default and can be shown with Include My Activity. Archived projects can likewise be added with Include Archived Projects.
  • On the Dashboard, the activity feed follows the selected filters without adding activity outside the selection or showing the same activity twice. The notification icon also includes unread activity from archived projects.

Group favorite projects without hiding status

Favorite projects keep their position in the project list and can be moved in the same way as other projects. Choose the Favorites grouping to collect them.

Favorite projects appear together in their own group without hiding other projects or their status.
  • Draft projects show how many tasks are complete and how many exist in total. The progress indicator shows 0 percent until the project is launched.
  • Task creators and assignees can choose from the project’s existing tags, but cannot create new ones.
  • Unread notification counts match across project cards, task rows, and milestone rows. The same icons are used for comments, discussions, mentions, and quotes.
  • Project cards with no recent activity are shown with less emphasis. Deleted task comments no longer count as unread, and errors when managing project tags are shown as clear messages.

Read timelines without shifted dates

Week numbers, date labels, task and project bars, milestones, and today’s date appear in the right positions in the timeline.

Tasks and milestones stay aligned with their dates when the timeline changes from week to month view.
  • The full project-name cell is clickable, and task rows can be opened with the keyboard.
  • When you mark a new period by dragging in the timeline, the saved dates match the preview.

Open the right tasks from the Dashboard

The My Tasks panel on the Dashboard shows the same task categories and open-task counts as the tasks page, including Projects and Controls.

The Projects category opens the right filtered task list directly from the Dashboard.

Each category links to its corresponding filtered task list. Categories with no open tasks remain visible with a count of 0.

See only what remains in a checklist

When a checklist step cannot be finalized, only required tasks that remain incomplete are highlighted. Completed and optional tasks are no longer shown as errors.

The error identifies the three required activities that must be completed.

Renaming a checklist task no longer changes who completed the other tasks or when they were completed.

Paste text and images in one step

When you paste text and images together, for example from Word or Google Docs, images are uploaded as files instead of being stored directly in the document.

The text and image remain in the same order, and the image’s alt text is preserved after the Page is saved.

The text, the order of the images, and their alt text are preserved. If an image cannot be uploaded, the rest of the content is still pasted.

Archive stakeholders without leaving the register

When you archive a stakeholder, you remain in the register. The active list appears first, and the archived entry remains available under Show archived.

The archived stakeholder leaves the active list but remains available under Show archived.
