Clearer calendar rows and safer timesheets

Timesheets now show which connected calendar each event came from and keep events with the same title separate. If you lose access to a project, its name, tasks, and milestones are protected while your previously reported time remains available.

Project tasks, the activity feed, the timeline, custom lists, and checklist reports are also clearer and easier to use.

Timesheets and connected calendars

• Time entries for projects you can no longer view remain available but show as “Restricted” without project, task, or milestone names. The rows are read-only but can be removed, and an active timer can still be stopped.
• New time entries and timers can only be linked to projects you can view. The same protection applies to previous-week suggestions, synced calendar events, and calendar matching rules.
• Events with the same title from different connected calendars now appear on separate rows with the calendar name below the title. Changes, syncing, and removal affect only the correct calendar.
• When several matching rules fit the same calendar event, the longest and most specific rule now wins. The quick-add button disappears as soon as the new rule has been added.
• You now get a confirmation before removing a timesheet row from a project you can no longer view, which helps prevent accidental deletion of previous time.
• The connected-calendar and matching-rule dialogs are more compact, show clear confirmations after saving, and clear old form values when you cancel. Project, milestone, and task pickers also highlight the full row consistently.

Projects

• People who create a project task can now edit and complete it, assign users, and manage subtasks and attachments without full edit access to the project. Changing the milestone or deleting the whole task still requires full edit access.
• The project activity feed now loads more events as you scroll. A separate button marks everything as read, so you control when that happens.
• The timeline now has filters for assignee, tags, due date, completed tasks, and free-text search. It also opens at the first incomplete task.
• Deleted tasks and subtasks in the activity feed no longer appear as clickable links.
• Project progress reaches 100 percent only when the work is fully complete.
• Subtask date fields and rows align better.

Custom lists

• Archived custom lists and their items show a clearer status and can no longer be changed. Owners and editors can archive them, while only administrators can restore or delete them. An archived list cannot be opened from an old link.
• Confirmation dialogs for archiving and deleting custom lists no longer get stuck when an action fails.

Checklists and templates

• The template list now loads correctly for users who can access only some templates.
• Values in checklist PDF reports now sort correctly, including values from nested custom lists.
