Unread indicators in Projects, bulk edit for custom lists, and custom list bug fixes

Projects got unread indicators this week. Every project card now shows pills for unread task comments, discussion replies, and quoted messages. Inside a project, tasks and discussions flag new activity. Opening an item marks it read after a short delay, no extra clicks.

What’s new

• Unread activity indicators across Projects. Project cards show pills for unread task comments, discussion replies, and quotes. Task lists mark items with new comments. Discussion lists distinguish never-read from partially-read threads. Opening an item auto-marks it read.
• Bulk editing for custom lists. Edit items directly in a spreadsheet-style grid instead of opening each item individually.
• Search in the Features and Permissions settings tab. Filter feature cards by name.
• Audit trail on project tasks. Each task now tracks who created it and who last modified it, with timestamps visible in the UI.

Improvements

• Task reordering in Projects is faster. Dragging a task now sends a single update instead of re-indexing the entire list. Small projects won’t feel different, but larger ones are noticeably snappier.
• Tasks can be deleted directly from the project view, with a confirmation prompt.
• Project and discussion lists support flexible sorting controls.
• Subtask titles can be edited inline.
• Project cards are more compact, and the project manager gets a crown badge on their avatar.

Fixed bugs

• Sorting a custom list by Created or Updated date in ascending order returned zero results even when items existed.
• Deleting all items from the first page of a multi-page custom list showed an empty page instead of loading the next page.
• Long activity labels in the Stakeholder Analysis modal could overflow outside the form frame.
• Deleted teams could not be removed from Goals and Measurements. The removal button did nothing. Now works.
• Bulk import failed when certain fields were empty. Added null handling.
• Document Library files were blocked on the command line interface without switching to Edit mode first.
• A race condition between steps and the template in the Improvement form could cause data inconsistencies.
• Buttons (Generate barcode, Upload file) in disabled custom list rows were still clickable. Now properly disabled.
